A simple child’s top with “fake” sleeves worked as parts of the body. There is no need to work sleeves separately and sew them to the body. This has plenty of room around the belly and gathered at the chest to fit the child’s body well. The neck drawstring is a crochet chain, tied in front.

Size: child 2,3-4, 5-6, 7-8, finished chest size 21.5, 23.5, 25.25, 27 inches (54.6, 59.7, 64.1, 68.6 cm), 12, 14, 16, 18 inches (30.5, 35.6, 40.6, 45.7 cm) in length.

Baby sizes are now available in sport/fingering weight;
