“Like the Swallow” is a fingering weight pullover with a textured slipped stitch pattern that looks like little birds. The back is worked first to the underarms, then stitches are picked up from the cast-on edge and the fronts are worked individually. The fronts are then joined at the neck and worked together until the underarm, where the back and front are joined together to work in the round to the end. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole and shaped with short rows into one of two sleeve options: a bell sleeve worked on larger needles or a simple fitted stockinette sleeve. There is also an option to work it as a tanktop.

It is designed to fit with 1” of negative ease at the bust.

Modeled garment is a 34”/86cm shown on a 33”/83.8cm high bust and a 34”/86cm full bust.

The Little Birds pattern is charted and written out.
