Super cute crochet baby owl cocoon pattern for newborn photos. This pattern can also be used for little girls to carry their dolls in. I have included step by step instructions with photos. This pattern is not complicated, but requires Advanced beginner skills. Stitches used include: Chain, Crocodile Stitch, Double Crochet, Front Post Double Crochet, Half Double Crochet, Magic Circle Ring,Reverse Single Crochet/ Crab Stitch
Single Crochet,Slip Stitch, Triple Crochet/Treble and V-Stitch. You will need 2 skeins of multi color yarn and 1 skein of solid. You will use very little white yarn for eyes, yellow for beak and black for outlining the eyes. You will need scissors and darning needle. I hope you enjoy making the pattern, it was worth seeing my 5 year old grand-daughter’s reaction when she was able to put her baby doll in it and take it shopping. Feel free to sale any items made with this pattern, but please do not share or distribute the pattern. Thank you and Happy Crocheting! Suzi
