Everyone knows that fuzzy equals cute (think kitties, ducklings, the top of a baby’s head). So if you want to make a scary monster into something sweet and adorable, just make it fuzzy! When a vampire is this cute and cuddly, can you really blame parents for allowing it to bite the top of their child’s head?

This adorable hat is a perfect example of a how to use the magic ring to create a fun and warm crochet hat. This basic earflap hat is transformed from simple to a sweet and adorable monster with the addition of a pair of pointy ears and a couple of wee fangs.

To check gauge: work through round 8 of pattern. Diameter of circle should measure 4”.

Errata: Please note that the largest size listed should say 21.75”, not 2.75” as it was written in the book.

This pattern is part of a free Magic Loop e-book from Interweave.
