Hello!

I enjoyed creating this pattern and I hope you enjoy knitting it as well! The instructions for both a scarf version and a stole version are included in this pattern.

This pattern isn’t supposed to be too difficult, but a good middle ground between simple and complicated. I hope that if you’re new to lace you’ll try this pattern, and that if you’re an experience lace knitter, you’ll enjoy this pattern as well.

I would suggest a solid, tonal, or lightly variegated yarn for this project. Something with too many color changes won’t show the pattern as well as you might like.

The gauge listed is only an approximation of what is needed. If a different needle size gets you a fabric you like, go for it!

Don’t feel like you have to stick to fingering weight for this! I’d love to see someone work it up in a heavier or a lighter yarn, it would be an interesting variation!
