The Lillian Top is a truly versatile and fabulous garment. Originally designed as a top, it can also be worn as a poncho, a strapless dress and even a fish-tail skirt! Lillian is an intricate knit and is suitable for the experienced knitter. It is advisable to knit the Fantasia Cowl before making Lillian as it is a great introduction to the stitch and shaping.

Lillian is photographed in the colour Alpaca Mist (Rose Grey)
Knitted in Purl Alpaca Designs 100% pure alpaca Fine yarn
Skill level: advanced
Small/Medium: 83-93 cm bust – 33″ to 37″ (8 balls)
Medium/Large: 93-102.5 cm bust – 37″ to 41″ (10 balls)

There is the option of creating Lillian with a shorter rib so that it sits on the waist. This take approximately 2 balls less.

Tension: 36sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over 2×2 rib using 3mm needles
