The Lily Cowl uses simple knits, purls, yarn overs and decreases in a modern nod to the classic Lily of the Valley. Lily Cowl is perfect for a quick and easy gift as well as a good introduction to lace knitting. The pattern comes with both chart and written instructions.

Sizing: One size (about 28” around and 9” tall)
Yarn: 2 balls Valley Yarns Colrain (50% Merino/50% Tencel) 109 yards per 50 g.
Sample knit in Colrain in color Chestnut and used 93 g.
Needles: US # 7 (4.50 mm) 16” circular needle (or size needed to get gauge)
Other materials: 5 markers, yarn needle
Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4” in pattern
