ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Lily Cowl uses simple knits, purls, yarn overs and decreases in a modern nod to the classic Lily of the Valley. Lily Cowl is perfect for a quick and easy gift as well as a good introduction to lace knitting. Lace charted and written.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
One Size about 27” around by 9.5” tall (68.5 cm by 24 cm)

MATERIALS
Yarn:
220 yards Worsted weight yarn
Sample cowl knit in Valley Yarns Colrain in the color Chestnut and used about 93 g or 205 yards.
Needles: Size US 7 (4.50 mm) (or size to get gauge) 16” (40 cm) circular
Notions: 5 stitch markers (one unique), tapestry needle

GAUGE
20 sts and 24 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Pattern after blocking
