Knitting pattern for a pair of fingerless mitts/gloves with Lily-of-the-Valley lacy texture pattern with bobbles on the front. The same lacy pattern is on the palms of the gloves, but without the bobbles.

If you don’t like knitting bobbles, they can be left off the fronts by just omitting the bobble stitches and simply working knit stitches where they should be, as on the palm part of the mitts.

The gloves in the photograph were made using 50gm Rowan Cashsoft 4ply in light turquoise. Any 4ply weight yarn could be used instead - wool, cashmere, alpaca, cotton, etc.

The gloves were knitted on size 3mm (11) needles for the main part, with the rib and cast-off edges on size 2.5mm (13) needles. They measure approximately 3.5” across (not counting thumb) and 5” long from top of cuff rib to cast-off edge. The size could be adjusted by using smaller or larger needles.

The pattern consists of typed instructions for the glove shaping and charts for both left and right mitt with symbols for the lacy Lily-of-the-Valley pattern.

The pattern is for personal use only. Please do not sell the pattern or any gloves that you make from it.
