Limerick is a lace shawl in two sizes worked top-down beginning at the center back and gradually increases at four points, forming the triangular shape. This short and sweet shawl looks great in both handpainted and self-striping yarns. The smaller size can be made with just one skein of sock yarn.

The pattern is charted only, but the lace patterns are quite simple and easy to memorize. There are guidelines on adjusting the sizing. The main lace pattern flows into the edging pattern, forming gently pointed edges.
