Lina is a cat made entirely of polygons.

Lina also has a larger cousin, Sheba, who is made of african flowers.
Both Lina and Sheba are ideal projects for scraps of yarn.

The pattern includes photo’s and written instructions on how to make the polygons and how to sew the polygons together to make your cat.

Meterage & sizes:
The size of your cat depends on the yarn you use.
If you are unsure of the amount of yarn you will need, I’d advise you to make a hexagon, and weigh that. Multiply the weight by 37 as an estimate of what you will need for the finished cat.
Use a crochet hook that is one size smaller than your yarn label advises, to make sure you don’t get big holes.

As a guide
Lina is made using approximately 30 grams (120 m) of sport weight yarn. She is 12 cm high (incl ears), 17 cm long (nose to bum), and 8 cm wide.

Lina and Sheba were inspired by Sara Elizabeth Kelner’s Parlor cat.
