Fun knit using a self-striping yarn and 2 solid contrasting colors allows the yarn to enhance the pattern. Use some creativity in color changes. Even knit more than the 2 row pattern to see what develops!

I used 1 skein of Classic Shades (197 yards) and 1 each of 2 contrasting colors of Vintage (217 yards).

Finished and unblocked cowl is about 10.75” inches deep. You can make it any size you want. Don’t want it so long? Decrease stitches by multiples of 2.

Linen stitch provides a pretty woven look to the cowl without a great deal of effort. This was an enjoyable knit! Hope you enjoy too.
