In this purse pattern I have combined one of my favorite crochet stitches with a tapestry crocheted detail. I think that combination of linen yarn and mercerized cotton also enhance the beauty and interest for the eye.

For this project you need 1 skein Rowan Pure Linen and small amount of mercerized cotton in 2 colors like Schachenmayr Catania.

Gauge is for textured stitch (with Rowan Pure Linen): 14-15 stitches x 13 rows = 5 cm x 5 cm
and for tapestry crocheted part (Catania) 14 stitches x 9 rows = 5 cm x 5 cm

The pattern contains charts for both the tapestry crocheted part and textured part and there are several photos included as well to clarify different steps.
