These are the matching gloves to my Linen Stitch Cowl. This clever stitch is worked using alternate colours each round, eliminating pesky tails yet giving the impression of intricate colourwork.

These fingerless gloves are made in the round starting with the arm and increasing over the hand before splitting for the thumb and finger holes.

You can adjust the pattern to suit by adding multiples of 2 to the starting chain. The pattern makes medium sized gloves for an adult woman – the best thing to do is check that your foundation round is big enough before continuing with the pattern. The pattern is written to work out for both gloves assuming you may have altered the initial foundation row.
