It is so easy to make a perfect sun hat. You can choose how to decorate it, either with ribbon or with small ruffle (instructions for ruffle included).

Sizes and measurements:
Baby (up to 16”)
Child (up to 19”)
Adult (up to 22”)
Pattern is written for baby size, with changes for child and adult sizes.

Materials:
• worsted weight yarn (approx. 100150,200gr (or 140210, 280yards). For the sample I used linen/nylon blend yarn. You can use 100% cotton yarn as well, but linen yarn would be the best.
• crochet hook 4mm (G) or size needed to obtain gauge
• ribbon (optional)
• contrasting colour yarn (optional)

Gauge:
8dc and 4 rows = 2inches (5 cm)

sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
