Cool, easy to knit hat for summer weather, knit top-down in a loose gauge. 2 sizes written up, but it’s easy to extrapolate additional sizes. A purchased ribbon or strap run through the eyelets can adjust size.

Use either double-pointed or circular needles. Starting on double pointed needles may be easiest, then switching to circular needles as your stitch count grows.

Worsted weight linen or linen blend yarn recommended but not required – use something that won’t get too floppy. a single skein ought to do it (adult hat needs about 120 yards)

Optional: Running some milliner or florist wire through the bound-off edge will provide a stiffer brim.
