Linen is ideal for spa cloths, due to its marvellous natural qualities. Not only is it a truly eco-friendly yarn, but it is also anti-bacterial, hypo-allergenic and naturally exfoliating.
For a more rustic look and rougher feel, choose the natural, undyed linen (silver beige colour as in photo with soap). If you prefer something softer, choose a dk solid or hand-dyed yarn. To really glam it up, you could go for a posh pink (Cerise).

This is a simple pattern which is easy to memorise. The border and the hint of twist add some interesting texture. It is quite addictive.
One 50g skein of dk solids linen will give you 2 spa cloths.
One 100g hank of dk hand-dyed is enough for 3 spa cloths.
One 100g hank of sport hand-dyed is enough for 4 spa cloths.
If you are new to knitting with linen yarn and only want to try one, we sell mini-skeins of hand-dyed yarn (30-33g) which will make one spa cloth.

After an initial hand wash, your FO can be machine-washed on a gentle cycle (like wool) with a gentle detergent.
