Lineside is a companion pattern to my Sideline beanie. Both beanies highlight diagonal stitch patterns, with a focus on quick but interesting knitting.

Knit in the round from the brim up, Lineside features diagonal rib and simple slip stitch patterning. The reverse side of this hat is smooth stockinette making it particularly useful as a chemo cap – it can also be worn wrong side out!

This pattern suits both solid and variegated colourways - just choose a yarn that has good stitch definition.
Written for 2 yarn weights:
DK/8ply at 22st gauge on 4mm needles.
Worsted/10ply at 20st gauge on 4.5mm needles.

A warm and cozy hat, suitable for the whole family. Written for 6 sizes from NB (35cm) through to Large adult (60cm).
