This cowl is part of my year long seasonal series and represents the color and pattern of spring! The hand dyed yarn reminded me of tea roses which led me to this simple cable pattern that mimics roses climbing a trellis. The silk in the yarn lends itself to a beautiful drape, and the lightweight yarn is perfect for cool mornings or evenings before the heat of summer descends upon us.

If you are new to cables, don’t be shy! This is an easy 4 row repeat that’ll have you knitting cables in no time.

I used 340 yards, however the pattern is easily adapted to more or less yardage/larger or smaller cowl.
