Some time ago I had knitted this style of sock for my husband and he has been wearing them for a couple of years now.I had knitted them using Lorna Laces Shepard Sock Yarn in a color called Navy Pier (Pictured below: variegated sea greens and blues). The pattern is original and have put it on paper. The sock is ribbed with a cable link chain pattern running down the side of the sock.

I created the pattern knitting another pair using Knit Picks Gloss Fingering in Parsley color. A very nice Merino and Silk yarn. Love the results and the softness of the yarn. Two skeins of this yarn was enough to knit this pair.

However this pattern can be knitted using almost any fingering weight yarn. Knitted using set of 5 dpn US #2 (2.75 mm). Gauge is 36 sts = 4” and 20 rows = 2”. The size of these were for a men’s size medium but they can be knitted unisex, because the ribbing pattern gives a nice snug feel for any adult foot.

The pattern is a 3 page pdf. Love to have you try the pattern as I think you will love the results.
