Línuhúfa
The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. Starting with a single colour, which will later be folded inward to create a double layer over the ears. After that, the colourwork section is made slightly shorter befor folding so that the solid part forms a small edge at the bottom of the hat. The cast-on stitches are picked up and knitted together with the working stitches as you continue in pattern.

3x Fínerí DK50 - 50 gr (112m)- 85% Merino/15% Nylon

3 mm circular needles (40 cm / 16”)
4 mm circular needles (40 cm / 16”) and double-pointed needles for the crown
(If you are a loose knitter, you may use 3.5 mm. If you knit very tightly, 4.5 mm may be used.)

Finished circumference (unstretched): 47.5 (51, 54.5) cm
(My sample is the medium size. My head circumference is 57 cm and it fits snugly over the ears.)
