Lippo Hat forms a set with Lippo fingerless mitts.

The pattern is written for one size that fits an average adult head. Of course, the size can be adjusted by a more vigorous blocking, by going up or down a needle size, or by changing the yarn weight and adjusting the needles accordingly.

Level: Adventurous beginner or intermediate. The hat is knit in the round. The pattern uses long-tail cast on, knit and purl stitches, eyelets and basic decreases. The pattern is both written and charted.

Needle size and notions: US 4 / 3.5mm and US 6 / 4mm DPNs or circulars if you prefer the magic loop method. Stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving ends.
Needle size should be adjusted to get the gauge right.

Gauge: 20 sts and 27 rows in stockinette on larger size needles = 10cm (4in).

Yarn suggested: 50 - 70 grams of any worsted weight yarn that meets the gauge, wool if you want the hat very warm.
