An elegant, fresh version of the classic cardigan, Lira’s tailored details and clean lines make it an instant wardrobe staple. Slip stitch details, i-cord edging, and a clever bind off feature at the waist add structure and interest throughout, while three-quarter length sleeves and a scoop neck make it perfect for any season.

CONSTRUCTION

  • The Body is worked flat in one piece on a circular needle to the underarms. The Back and Fronts are divided and worked separately to the shoulders.
  • The Sleeve is worked in the round from the cuff to the underarm, then the cap is worked back and forth.
  • An Applied I-Cord edging is worked at the Hem, Cuff, and Neck edges.
  • The Front Bands are worked separately in a ribbed pattern and are sewn to the garment front edges.
