Lissome was designed to be a delicate shawl for warmer weather. The very open pattern knitted in lace or light fingering yarn is enhanced by a beaded edge. Although Lissome looks complex, there is only one type of decrease and one type of increase!

Lissome is a relatively small shawl, measuring 58” wide at the neck edge, 19” at the deepest point, and 80” wide at the bottom edge as shown in the photos. It is easy to add both width and depth to this shawl. Similarly, you may make Lissome smaller, or use fewer rows if you decide to knit with heavier yarn.

Lissome is a charity pattern, meaning that all net profits will be donated to a wonderful group, Guiding Eyes for the Blind: http://www.guidingeyes.org/ . This charity was selected by nomination and voting at the Tinyknitters Group on Ravelry.
