This cute teddy bear pattern is knit-as-you-go. Starting from the head, each part of this bear is picked up and knitted directly, with no sewing at the end.

The bear shown in the pattern was knitted with worsted weight yarn, with size 4.5mm, double-pointed needles--but there is no gauge, and any weight of yarn can be used.

The easy-to-follow pattern is geared toward intermediate knitters, but beginners should be able to pick up the techniques, as there are no complicated joins or advanced stitches.

The pattern uses less than one skein of yarn and is a great stash buster.
