These little containers are perfect for housing notions etc.

I actually use them to contain lavender flowers so that every time I pass them in my Stash Palace, I give the flowers a rub and release the next wave of lavender essential oils. This helps to keep moths at bay as they are scent sensitive and don’t like lavender.

If you would like more information on moth control, I pulled together a blog post about it over at KNIT IT - HOOK IT - CRAFT IT.

Simple and easy to crochet up using scraps of yarn, you can make these little containers your own by adding buttons or colour changes.

Yarn
You can easily make all three of these containers from 50g/100m of cotton. I used Erika Knight Gossypium cotton because it is soft and comes on gorgeous muted colours.
