Little Darling Baby Sweater
This sweater takes less than 50 grams of fingerling yarn, but can also be made with other baby yarns to sport weight. Sizing will vary with yarn choice. This sweater was made with 3.5mm knitting needles. If using yarn other than fingerling, I’d suggest using yarn manufacturer’s recommendation.
Pattern calls for sleeves to be knit in the round on either DPN’s or Circular needle(s) with Magic Loop or 2 circulars.
Yoke is made with almost invisible increases, rounded evenly for a perfect fit. Skirt is a soft design, that can be used for both a little boy or girl.
Totally seamless, instructions given for knitting in the round with either circular or double pointed needles.
The pattern has long sleeves but could be shortened for 3/4, elbow, or short sleeves.
I knit 91 rows from start and bound off the body on the 92nd row. Sleeves after pick up I knit 35 rows and bound off on the 36th row. Length of body and sleeves is totally your own choice. This is just what I did.
