Little Hearts is a simple baby cardigan that features a sweet colorwork heart yoke detail.

This tiny cardigan is a perfect gift for a new baby and can be knit up with one or two skeins of sock yarn. Use some precious sock yarn scraps for the hearts to add a little something special ❤

28 stitches and 40 rows = 10cm/4in
If you do not wish to swatch for this project, you can begin with the sleeves and check your gauge after a few centimeters.

Materials
Approximately one skein of fingering weight or sock yarn for the main color and a small amount of the same weight yarn for the hearts in a contrasting color.

Construction
Option 1: knit in the round from the top down and steeked.
Option 2: knit flat from the top down.
Original pattern:The sleeves are worked first, in the round from the cuff up. The body is worked flat from the bottom up. The sleeves are joined to the body and everything is worked flat including the colorwork yoke detail.
