CONSTRUCTION
This design is knitted in the jacquard (or stranded knitting) technique using two colors at a time. The flowers and leaves “dominate” in the pattern (see the illustrations in the Appendix). Construction begins at the bottom edge of the Body and is worked to the underarm location. Two Sleeves are worked. Underarm stitches are placed on stitch holders. Then, the Body and Sleeves are joined in the round. Raglan shaping is worked by decreasing stitches at the joined pieces, which continue up to the neckline.
