I was inspired and designed the Little Lovie collection while my son was just an infant (how? that is an excellent question I don’t know the answer to!) I finally was able to double check them and write them out.

The Little Lion Lovie was designed to be no sew! My least favorite part of crocheting is sewing pieces together (and weaving in ends) So I made these to be crocheted together as you go, with minimal end-weaving where possible!

There is no gauge, no specific yarn, no specific hook. This works for any yarn (fingering weight or thicker), just start with a hook that will give you a tight stitch for the head, then hop up one to 3 sizes for the body. For example, With this pattern I used worsted weight with F & G hooks.

Best made with soft cotton or soft cotton blend (such as Knit Picks Comfy or Shine) or a wool blend (example shown in pattern is Lion Brand Wool-Ease).
