The Little Mermaid, by Hans Christian Anderson. It is a tragic little story that I fell in love with a long time ago. This shawl is my visualization of that story. It is a faux faroese shawl with a simple all over body pattern. It has a center back cable/twisted stitch pattern and a lace edging on each side. All themed on the waves of the ocean and flow of water.
There are two size options with this shawl, a shawlette (guesstamating the size is 54 inches across the top and 20 inches down the center) the second size is a hug :).
Kits are being provided by Yarn Fairy and the Pixies, currently for sale.

Yarn: Yarn Fairy: Fairy Fine Sock, 490 yds/100g, 1 skein, or Fairy Deluxe Sock 820yds/150g. Pixie Paca 650yd/50g 1 skein.
Needle: Size US 6/4.0mm
Gauge: 16 stitches by 32 rows in pattern 4x4 inch swatch.
Finished Measurements: 54” across, 20” center.
Fae Level: Intermediate/Experienced.
Skills Needed: Cables, lace, reading from charts.
