THIS IS A KNITTING PATTERN, NOT SOCKS. Please read the pattern description.

Though Shark Week may have ended, I’ve decided to keep this promotion on as a bundle! You can get Shark Bait, Little Nibble, Catch of the Day, AND Small Fry as a bundle for only $15! Use coupon code “Aquatics Bundle” upon check out.

Crikey, and Catch of the Day have both been reworked to fit some of the smallest feet amongst us - but with Shark Week upon us… well, it was time for Shark Bait to become Little Nibble.

These socks are conceptually nearly identical to their older counterpart, with proportional changes to accommodate the general squishiness of little feet. Knit cuff down, the two jaws are knit separately before being joined in the round. The fins are created from picked up purl stitches on the sock, so you don’t have to worry about placement. If you’d rather knit them separately then sew to attach, a note regarding that is in the pattern. Eyespots aid with button placement, and a tooth template allows for an easy creation of chompers. The pattern is 15 pages long. This pattern is written to work for any kind of knitting - whether that’s double pointed needles, two circular needles, a circular needle with magic loop, or any other in the round knitting style. You will also find a photographic tutorial for the most confusing step. The three sizes are color coded, so you never have a need for a highlighter.

For more ideas as to how it knits up, be sure to check out the projects of Shark Bait!

Don’t worry too much if your gauge isn’t an exact match, as long as you’re working up a relatively standard sock yarn gauge, you should be just fine.

Make sure to check out the projects shared by my test knitters! Their work is invaluable. Some are posted on Ravelry, but there are also some available to see on Instagram under the #littlenibblesocks
