This is a very simple knit for a newborn baby. The vest is easy to put on with the buttons on the top. The ribbing makes it stretchy and comfortable - and it will fit any baby and size! Quick and fun to knit and ready to be worn as soon as the baby come, especially if the weather is chilly too.

You will need…

… a cable needle of ca 80 cm (if you use magic loop), size 3 mm
… yarn - ca 50 g (ca 132 meter) of a yarn of Aran weight (ca 22 sts on 10 cm with 3 mm needle)
… scrap yarn or holders to hold stitches in the waiting
… a needle to weave in the ends
… 4 small buttons (wait and see the size until the end)
… 2 double pointed needles ca size 3,5 - 4 mm
