Little Otto Owl is superb, handsome and ready for anything that the day, or night, might bring as he is wrapped up warmly in his best scarf.

He is knitted in stocking stitch and garter stitch on straight needles, both the front and back of his body are each worked flat and sewn together. The ears, wings and tail are knitted flat and sewn to the body, and the eyes are worked using the intarsia method following a simple chart. This particular Little Otto Owl and his scarf, are knitted in a 4ply (Super Fine, Fingering) pure wool yarn and require 4, 100% wool; 115m (125 yd) 25 g balls of yarn to complete. However, any weight of yarn can be used with these instructions — just make sure that you follow the suggested tension on the ball band.
