This little parrot is just 2” tall and works up very quickly. He’s a great little guy to choose if you’re looking for a quick make, to go with a pirate set, or even to make into a keychain. So cute!

Materials Needed:
• Worsted weight yarn
• 3mm and 2.75mm hooks
• Embroidery floss
• Polyfil or other doll stuffing
• Tapestry needle, straight pins, skewer to push in stuffing, scissors

Size
Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished product will vary depending on the size of the yarn and hooks you use. The Parrot measures 2” tall (5cm). Using thinner yarn and smaller hooks will yield smaller pieces. Using thicker yarn and larger hooks will result in larger pieces. An individual crocheter’s yarn tension can also be a factor in sizing as well.

Pattern Notes
The pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond.
