Little Roarer is a playful hoodie for the little wild one in your life. It seems like kiddos grow out of hand knits in the blink of an eye, so this sweater is constructed with about 3 inches positive ease in the chest and some additional length in the body and sleeves for the wearer so that it might possibly be worn through two years. If you wish the sweater to fit more exactly to the wearer, choose a size with a finished chest measurement closer to the actual chest size of the wearer.

This sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up. It has minimal seaming, aside from adding the key lion elements at the end. Since it is mostly composed of stockinette in the round, this sweater can knit up quickly. The pattern is suited for intrepid beginners and intermediate knitters. It includes increases, decreases, picking up stitches, Kitchener stitch, i-cord, and a tiny bit of intarsia for the ears.
