Designed especially for little ones, this practical double knit sweater features a garter stitch star across the chest, a smaller star on the left sleeve and loose styling for extra comfort. The functional buttons along the left shoulder are practical and could also be a decorative touch.

Each part of the sweater is worked flat from the bottom up, with stitches picked up from the cast off edges to create the neck and button bands.

Includes five sizes
Finished chest: 20, 21.5, 23, 24.5, 26” (51, 54.5, 58, 61, 66cm)

I used Hayfield Bonus DK but other yarns that work to standard DK tension or 22 sts and 28 rows to 4” should be fine. Please check the yardage and tension carefully.
