Storyteller is knit from the bottom up in one piece. The hood is knit from the neck up and the garter rib border and cap sleeves are picked up and knit in the round. There is no sewing other than the shoulder and hood grafts!

Materials
Yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage (100% superwash merino wool, 200 yds / 182 meters, 3 1/2 oz / 100 grams):

1 color version: 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4) skeins, in Color A

2 color version: 1 (1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3) skein(s) in Color A and 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2) skein(s) in Color B

Striped version: 1 (1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4) skein(s) in Color A and 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2) skein(s) in Color B

Needles: One US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle in 24” (60 cm) length for smaller sizes, 32” (80 cm) length for larger sizes. One set US 7 (4.5 mm) double pointed needles for working sleeves. Change needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Notions: 7 stitch markers, a darning needle for weaving in ends, 2 (3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5) buttons approximately 1/2 – 7/8” in diameter.
