Now there’s no need to wait for a total solar eclipse to see that most peculiar of effects, the sun’s plasma bleeding into the surrounding space to create a corona or ‘crown’!

You can even attempt to sculpt sunspots if the mood takes you!

And why not hang your little sun so it catches the morning light and the corona can blaze away as you get up (or have a sneaky lie in).

The ButterflyLove pdf Little Sun with Corona knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions and handy hints along the way. It is suitable for a beginner/intermediate knitter and you can whip your little sun up in a matter of minutes - so it makes a great stocking stuffer!
