Lizbeth is a lovely lace and colorwork shawlette. The two-color knitting technique involved is thoroughly explained and has accompanying free short She-Knits You Tube on-line video tutorials to help guide those that are new to this technique. You can find these videos and more at SheknitsSharonD’s You Tube Channel

This is a 30 page pattern as it is written out completely in nicely spaced 12 pt font. Additionally it has charts for the color work sections if you prefer chart reading.
Please only print out what you need.

This is an excellent “learning” pattern in that there are descriptions of all the techniques used in the notes in the beginning of the pattern as well as the above mentioned videos. For more advanced knitters you can of course skip the descriptive text.

Please take a look at the many Lizbeth’s that are posted in Ravelry, I imagine you will be inspired.

The Lizbeth shown is made using Studio June Yarn - Super Cash Sock in the color combo Enchanted Forest/Sunbleached Jade, available by contacting ‘StudioJune’ on Ravelry or email: J-June@sbcglobal.net. Additional color combos are available.

MATERIALS
~ 300 yds.fingering weight yarn multi-colored
~ 150 yds.fingering weight yarn semi solid- (for best results pick a tonal yarn that compliments your multi-color but does not exactly match any of the colors within your multi colored yarn)
~ 1 pair U.S.#5 needles (or needle size to get gauge desired)
~ 3 stitch markers

Gauge 7 sts and 6.5 rows = 1” x 1” in stockinette stitch with fingering yarn on U.S. #5 needle. Exact gauge is not crucial however it is important to be relatively close in the stitches per inch.

Size after blocking –
60” long and 16” high at center point
