Did you think all Andean children wore chullo’s (ear flap hats) ? No, you can also see them in a cute Peruvian hat, or bonnet, with two pointy ears.
The hat is worked flat in one piece. There is no sewing involved. Back is shaped by short rows and a dart.
This is a reverse engineered pattern for the basic hat in stockinette stitch.
It looks a lot like Berocco’s Cisco hat, but is knit in a totally different way.
