Loden, Many Ways, is a 4-in-1 pattern. Instructions are given for an infinity cowl, scarf, throw, and a traditional cowl, which is worked in the round. The sample shown is the infinity cowl, which is worked flat and then closed into a loop with buttons. It can be worn in a variety of ways, but my personal favorite is the double loop buttoned with right sides facing out, as shown in the photos. Style it to suit your personality and go off into the cold with a bit of panache!

The sample is shown in Shalimar Yarns Haven in the “Loden” colorway. The pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters, with basic knowledge of lace and cabling. Please see specific required skills below. Instructions are both written and charted. The pattern has been professionally tech edited to reduce the possibility for error, but if you have questions or believe that you have found an error, please contact me.
