Cod fishing on the Lofoten Islands of northern Norway provided the inspiration for this infant sweater that features a fishtail pattern on the bottom, fishnet and waves on the body, and Codfish drying on racks on the yoke. It is knit in the traditional Norwegian style—in the round with a steek for the sleeve, which is sewn and cut later to make the armhole.
