This recipe and pattern provides instructions on how to knit your own fingerless gloves of any length regardless of weight of yarn. All you need to know is your gauge as well as the measurements of the recipient’s arm.

Do a little math, and viola! Instant pattern! For those that don’t want to do the math, a Google worksheet is provided that will do the math for you.

Choose your own thumbhole treatment, regardless if you prefer a thumb gusset, an afterthought thumb, or simply a slit to slide your thumb through. Links to different thumb treatments are provided.

For those that would prefer a pattern, instructions are given for an elbow-length Small-Medium fingerless gloves.
