I knitted these gloves with a cone of yarn from a NYC fashion salvage store. The yarn is fingering weight and was marked wool/cashmere. US3 double pointed needles and about 50 g. of wool required. Pattern includes directions for an optional spider embellishment in both written and chart form. If you choose to include the spider, you will need 5 g. of grey ya.

Gloves are knitted from the top down to the fingers and have a subtle scalloped edge at both ends and around the thumb. In addition to written instructions, link to google drive video demonstration of how to knit the scalloped edge is also included.

A small stitch holder for the 10 thumb stitches is required as well as a stitch marker.

Pattern size is women’s small. After knitting, I felted gloves after knitting to make them denser and softer.

Although I haven’t tested sizing, gloves could be made larger by using sport weight yarn with US5 needles or worsted weight yarn with US7 needles.
