I love a sharp dressed man! I designed this while on a trip to England and France this summer. The yarn is natural, non dyed Bluefaced Leicester DK by West Yorkshire Spinners, Yorkshire, England. The yarn is so soft and provides wonderful stitch definition. I was wanting to design a scarf in neutral colors, that look classy and smart for a more formal dressy occasion, perhaps paired with a long wool coat over a business suit for the coldest of big city days. Although I had men in mind while creating this, the end result would look just as wonderful for ladies – perhaps a little shorter and in pastel or bright color.
Instead of a fringe finish to the ends, I decided on a textured statement finish – a simple yet effetive broken rib.
Now all I need is a volunteer sharp dressed man to model it! ;-)
