Inspired by classic ribbed and cabled pullovers, this piece has been updated with some waist shaping and skinny ribbed sleeves. A little shoulder shaping adds a perfect touch to the fit.
Work the body in the round from the bottom up to the armholes, with placed cable panels on each side of the front and back. The body begins with k2, p2 rib, with the cable panels growing organically out of the ribbing. After dividing work to shape the armholes, work the front and back separately. Short-rows are used to shape the shoulders for a better fit.
The sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff to the armholes, in k2, p2 ribbing. After the initial underarm bind-off, the cap is worked back and forth.
