Longevity II Knitting Pattern

Mid-sized medium weight triangular shawl styled with alternating textured bands and selvedge edging that includes pattern options for both a straight edge or a gently fluted ruffle. Longevity is my personal go-to accessory that works as well when worn with jeans as it does with your little black dress. This is also the perfect social knitting project where you will not need to worry about complex stitching and counting. This project requires a moderate amount of fiber - 560 yds for the straight edge to 780 yds for the fluted edge version. If choosing to work the ruffle version the large number of edge stitches work best with a 60” circular cable

For a contrast color ruffle please allow 250 yds.

Wool and wool blend sport weight yarn to a light dk recommended as acrylic will not block to expected dimensions.

This pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters and above.
