Named for the dragon-horse in Chinese mythology, this cowl’s lace stitch is evocative of dragon scales and horseshoes. Don’t be deceived by the complex appearance of this stitch pattern—it’s a fairly simple lace pattern that is easily memorized and rhythmic to work. The stacked increases and decreases create a delicate pointed edging. Use a single mini skein pack of our fingering weight yarn to create this cowl that lays in graceful gradient ripples and is ample enough to pull up into an elegant hood.

Using one Mini-skein Pack of Wonderland Yarns Mary Ann sock, simply change colors as you reach the end of each mini skein.

One size, 28” around and 26” tall

US 5 circulars

Shown in colorway Rocking-horse-fly (brown) and 5 Million Kisses (pink to periwinkle gradient).
