These socks were knit on a very special trip to Montreal while staying in Longueuil. They travelled with me on all of my excursions and made an excellent travelling project as the pattern is very easily memorized. Using yarn from the inside and outside of a ball only requires taking one ball at a time. Having knit them and photographed them on a trip makes them a very special souvenir!!

MATERIALS REQUIRED
Biscotte Yarns – Bis-Sock -Metamorph (2 x 100g) illustrated in the color Antique
Set of 5 double-pointed needles (or circular needles for knitting in the round) 2.5mm

SIZES | Small (Medium, Large)
Circumference of foot : 17.5 (20, 22.5) cm - 6 7/8 (7 3/4, 8 5/8)
Length of foot : adjustable

GAUGE | 32sts X 40 rows = 10 cm – 4 in

NOTE :
The socks in the photograph have been knit with Biscotte’s Metamoph Yarn (2 X 100g) making a beautiful contrast with a minimal gradient effect. Each sock is knit using the inside and the outside of the same ball to form the contrasting color. To maximize the effect of the color change, I recommend using Biscotte’s Mini-Metamorph Yarn (2 X 50g).

This pattern can be worked with a set of 5 double-pointed needles or circular needles. In the case of double-pointed needles, spread half the stitches on needles 1 and 2 and the other half of the stitches on needles 3 and 4.
